Best Movie Songs of the 1990s

Top Movie Songs of the 90’s

The 90’s brought in an era of blockbuster special effects, but did little as far changing the current music trend. Disney managed to land back in the top ten with some of its movies beginning with The Little Mermaid, and then Beauty and the Beast, and The Lion King. Although their films always featured spectacular music, they began a new trend of having popular artists sing one of the main songs of the film and releasing it as a single. This became lucrative for Disney as well as Christina Aguilera–she got her second big break singing “Reflections” on the Mulan CD (her first break came from being on The Mickey Mouse Show).[1]
